Scenes from Halloween

The rain cleared up this morning just in time for us to have our Halloween Parade! Thank you to our Pre-K and Second Grade parents for organizing breakfast for our community, thank you to all the parents who came out to watch, and thank you to Kirk for leading the parade!

Journey’s End Pre-K “Pulling Down the Silence”

In last week’s VRF, families were introduced to Meeting for Worship at PMFS.  This week, Pre-K in Journey’s End would like to share with you what it looks like in their classroom:

To help our young friends settle in, we practice the art of “pulling down the silence” together.  The action of physically pulling down the silence helps our young friends calm and slow down their bodies, and leave the busy world outside for a few moments and think about the light within.  Each Thursday,  during our Meeting for Worship, we present a Query special to the three to five year old age group, guided by the PMFS monthly Quaker themes. Such wonderful connections and discussions come during this time.   This week, the Query was “What makes me special is….” .

A Win-Win for You and PMFS

Celebrate Plymouth!

A VRF spot highlighting gifts of all kinds given to PMFS

As Autumn leaves decorate our beautiful campus, PMFS is off to a wonderful start of the season. Volunteers have organized the return of the Halloween parade, donated gifts of gently used household items and tools, purchased supplies for the Beyond the Bell program, provided scrumptious snacks for students and staff, and shared the precious gifts of their valuable time and talents.

Giving back to the PMFS community strengthens the beautiful fabric that is us!   Thank you for sharing your gifts of all kinds.
