Sensory Play in Journey’s End
The light table and kinetic sand centers are wonderful examples of learning tools that offer both sensory exploration and a variety of opportunities for open-ended conversations in Journey’s End Pre-K. This week, winter-colored items were added to the light table. Some examples of spontaneous play we observed: sorting items by color or attribute, creating snowflake potions, and icy lemonade!

Giving back to the PMFS community strengthens the beautiful fabric that is us
On Saturday, December 11, despite rain in the forecast, intrepid PMFS current and alumni families and Plymouth Monthly Meeting volunteers showed up with rakes (or tractors!) for the return of a beloved annual tradition, Leaf Raking Day. Playground areas were cleared, while some other leaf-covered areas remained untouched to house overwintering insects. Volunteers enthusiastically enjoyed hot cocoa and being together as a community was a priceless reminder of who we are.
Thank you, Volunteers, led by the organizational efforts of our own David Mettler and Jonathan Perry:
