It’s Party Time in Little House
Recently our Little House Pre-K students asked to turn their dramatic play area into a birthday party. To prepare the center, they decorated, wrapped gifts, made party hats, and wrote out invitations and birthday cards. Then they played! Dramatic play engages children in literacy, math, science, and social studies, but most importantly it increases self-regulation, confidence, and language skills. And yes, with imagination, party streamers easily become leashes for pet dogs!
When Communication and Coordination Meet
Pod 3/4 has been showing off their jump rope skills! To perform this jump rope routine, the 3rd and 4th graders had to use communication, teamwork, and their practiced skills. They were so proud of their accomplishments!
Coming Soon: ArtsFest
- Students will be performing art demonstrations! Learn a new art technique from one of our students in the art building!
