A Peek Outside the Classroom
Sixth Grade recently took learning on the road, visiting the Franklin Institute to see the Terracotta Warriors of the First Emperor exhibit. Students drew and wrote in their journals, recording what they learned throughout the exhibit on ancient China and the First Emperor. After lunch, students watched the movie “Mysteries of China” in the iMax theater, which perfectly encapsulated the history behind the Terracotta Warriors and the First Emperor in an awe-inspiring display. What a wonderful thing to be able to quickly venture to Philadelphia, a living laboratory of history and learning.
