Fifth Graders and Leann, Gillian, and Brenda have been having a great time in Mexico! Some of the highlights so far include reuniting with buddies, boating on the Azetec canals in Xochimilco, seeing some of Diego Rivera’s murals, having a sleepover at Casa de los Amigos (a Quaker nonprofit), and climbing temples at Teotihuacan.

The purpose of the Exchange Program is to promote cultural awareness and knowledge. We and our partner school, Colegio Williams, have seen that the children’s experiences give them cross-cultural sensitivity and an interest in working for world peace.
